Pacific Muhumure is a community leader, education activist, and youth mentor dedicated to empowering Banyamulenge Youth and other underserved communities through education. As President of MSNC, he draws on over a decade of lived experience as a refugee & Immigrant to address the challenges Banyamulenge youth face in navigating the Canadian Education System. Through coaching, workshops, and mentorship, he supports youth in overcoming barriers and unlocking their full potential.
In his role, Pacific provides leadership and strategic direction for the network in Canada and Beyond, oversees the planning and execution of all initiatives, facilitates meetings, and ensures smooth collaboration among team members. He represents the organization in external engagements, partnerships, and official functions, while ensuring that its mission and goals are consistently upheld. He also oversees the organization, ensuring all programs align with its vision through close collaboration with partners and team at MSNC.
Pacific holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management (Global Perspective) from Southern New Hampshire University and is currently pursuing a second degree in Psychology at the University of Manitoba, along with certifications from Boston University, the United Nations, and Harvard University.
His experience includes serving as an Academic Advisor at Southern New Hampshire University, Alumni Representative with the Global Education Movement, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, and Project Manager for various Refugee-Led Organizations. He has also worked as a High School Chemistry & Biology Teacher as well as a Mental Health Facilitator!
Passionate about community empowerment, Pacific has collaborated with NGOs, RLOs, and government agencies to expand refugee access to quality education. He believes every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed regardless of their background.
