Founded by Banyamulenge students, MSNC helps youth navigate new educational systems through mentorship, academic support, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging.
Many Banyamulenge families arrived in Canada after experiencing displacement and living in multiple countries, each with different educational systems. Transitioning to the Canadian system can be difficult not only for students, but also for their families.

On December 20, 2025, the Mulenge Scholars Network Canada hosted the Banyamulenge Youth Empowerment Conference in Edmonton, Alberta. The gathering brought together scholars, community leaders, and partners to celebrate resilience, share migration stories, and highlight the transformative power of education. With inspiring speeches, youth panels, and cultural showcases, the event reinforced MSNC’s mission to empower Banyamulenge youth and strengthen community ties across borders.
